Chocolate Fudge in Microwave
5 ingredients dessert made in 5 minutes!
This is my mother’s recipe and her trick to turn my frown upside down! She used to surprise me with this Chocolatey Choco Fudge after I return from school all cranky. Hers used to be so simple, no fancy decoration, only plain fudge, but made with immense love and I could taste in every bite.
This is a super quick sweet dessert made with less than 5 ingredients easily available in any pantry. Also, a perfect item when hosting a gathering. You can also be innovative with the decoration! I have used desiccated coconut; you can try chopped nuts or crushed pretzels for a little touch of salt
So, let us get right to it!

- In a microwave safe mixing bowl add 1 can condensed milk
- Add 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup milk powder and 1/2 tsp vanilla essence. Whisk well.
- Add 1 tbsp Ghee/ Butter. Whisk again to fully incorporate
- Pop in the microwave for 2 minutes TWICE (total cooking time 4 minutes). Take bowl out in between to mix 1.5 tbsp butter. This will ensure even cooking.
- After 2 minutes. Mix 1.5 tbsp. butter and pop back into microwave for 2 minutes.
- After another 2 minutes, mix 1.5 tbsp. butter and set aside to cool. Fudge is ready! Once cooled, we can shape it.
- Once the mixture is cooled, shape and decorate as you please. I have used freshly desiccated coconut for coating today. You may try with chopped toasted nuts or just plain chocolate fudge.
Note: Cooking time varies based on individual microwave power. If mixture is still loose, pop in microwave for another minute.
