Tawa Pulav

  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in pan. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds
  2. Once the cumin seeds splutter, add 1 onion (chopped). Sauté.
  3. Once the cumin seeds splutter, add 1 onion (chopped) and 1tsp ginger-garlic paste. Sauté.
  4. Now add 1 tomato (chopped), salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chili powder, 1.5 tsp pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
  5. Once the tomatoes turn slightly soft, add 1 cup of mixed vegetables of your choice (chopped). Sauté.
  6. Once the vegetables are cooked (about 4 minutes), turn off the flame.
  7. Now add 1 cup rice, cooked. Use any rice of your choice. I have used sona masoori. Mix gently.
  8. Tawa Pulav is ready! Garnish with some coriander leaves and sev! Enjoy with side of raita and lemon slice!
