Kati Roll
Ingredients
Tomato Onion Salad
Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in pan.
  2. Add ½ onion chopped, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, salt and 1 green chili (finely chopped). Sauté till onions turn translucent.
  3. Now add 1 boiled potato(chopped/ mashed).
  4. Add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder and 1 tsp kitchen king masala or garam masala
  5. Mash well and sauté for 3 – 4 minutes.
  6. Turn off flame and keep side.
  7. In a bowl, add ¼ cup onion chopped, ¼ cup chopped tomato, 1 tbsp chopped coriander and salt.
  8. Now let’s prepare the Kati Roll
  9. Step 1- Take a Chapati or Tortilla
  10. Step 2- Spread any choice of your choice. I have used Chili Tomato sauce
  11. Step 3- Spread the Potato mixture.
  12. Step 4- Top with about 2 tsp of the onion tomato salad
  13. Step 5 – You can add some chopped bell peppers and fresh corn.( Optional)
  14. Step 6- Sprinkle with Chaat Masala.
  15. Step 7- Roll the chapati or tortilla
  16. Heat a tawa with 1 tsp oil/ghee
  17. Place the roll on the tawa and flip to ensure it roasts evenly
  18. Its ready! Enjoy!
