Butter Shortbread
Ingredients

butter
room temperature
1/2
cup
powdered sugar
sifted

all-purpose flour-
sifted
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 F and grease a baking tray or line with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together butter 1 cup room temperature butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar(packed), until they become light and fluffy
Now add in 2 cups All-purpose flour. Transfer the dough to a surface dusted with powdered.
Mix gently with hands. Do not over knead, just mix to get a non sticky soft.
Gently roll the dough to a log. It okay if the cookies have little cracks.
Now, using a cring/plastic wrap, roll and cover the dough.
Place inside refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
After about 30 minutes, take the roll out. Unwrap the roll and slice to 1/2 inch thickness.
Place the sliced dough on to the baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or just until lightly golden. It took me 17 minutes.
Once done, take out of over and let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring to cooking rack.
Butter Shortbread is ready! Enjoy with a nice cup of tea of coffee!
